It's nice to be home

I got home. My children were awaiting in front of the door. Ibit has cut some paper into small parts and they poured it on me as I walked in. Oh so sweet..
Aku pulang. Anak-anak menunggu di depan Pintu. Ibit gunting-gunting kertas sampe kecil-kecil... lalu mereka sebar ke aku ketika aku masuk. Manis sekali....

'welcome Ibu!'
Selamat datang, Ibu

A week away was so hard for all of us. But now I'm home!
Jauhan seminggu itu berat. Tapi aku sudah di rumah sekarang!

Is Ibu the word for mother? Glad you had such a nice welcome.

Yes, 'Ibu' is mother, and 'Bapak/Ayah' is father. They actually said 'selamt datang Ibu!'. We speak in Indonesian daily....
