Water World

The rain has turned the dry-sensation into this....
Flood in Solo...

and 90% of Bojonegoro

and Kudus...

and all areas along Bengawan Solo River...

The Government has decided to open the Dam periodicly since it can no longer bear the water volume from the rivers flows into it. The sediment has raised up to 100 million m3 of 120 million m3 dam's capacity.

People in the lower course protest this policy, because it means they have to live in flood longer. But if it is not done, a bigger disaster might happen.

The dam might be broken down and let the water flow down uncontrolled.

.....

What happened to mother nature?

Alhamdulillah we're not living in any of those flood areas. I live in Semarang. Some part of Semarang close to beach has flood too, but not where I live, coz I live in the hill part.
It's just so sad to see people who have to deal with this. I hope it'll soon be over. But according to the Climate and Meteorological Bureau (I hope I translate this right) the rain will still fall until end of february.
So I hope God give us strength...
